Monica Warren

Monica joined U.S. Large Enterprises at American Express in March 2015, where she led a team of Client Managers focused on driving growth and retention for Commercial Card clients, managing over $2 billion in charge volume. With over 20 years of experience, she has a proven track record of building high-performing sales teams and achieving success in competitive markets, earning recognition in the Diamond Club for her achievements.

Later, she transitioned to Global Merchant & Network Services as a Director of Client Management, where she provided thought leadership to enhance the merchant and partner experience. Currently, Monica leads the Healthcare Industry Verticals, overseeing a $12 billion portfolio across 110+ accounts, while guiding her team to deliver innovative leadership and consultative solutions to key healthcare clients.

Her previous roles at American Express include Director of Large Market, Regional Client Group, and Executive Director of Growth in Global Corporate Payments. Monica holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley, and has completed Harvard Leadership Training.

Before joining American Express, she spent over a decade in various leadership positions at FedEx. Active in her community, she is on the advisory board of the Los Angeles Diversity Council and co-founded the Black Engagement Network for the West Coast. Monica enjoys volunteering and spends her free time with her husband and two adult daughters in Los Angeles. An avid fitness enthusiast, she is training for her next triathlon.
