This is a member’s only session that will give participants the opportunity to focus on mentorship & leadership development. Rita Drobnis & Taryn Reed will host this session as they share their experience and expertise in these two areas. We will review what makes for a good mentor, and how you can develop your leadesrhip skills further. Intimate breakouts will provide participants the opportunity to build on the conversation through small group conversations.

Taryn Reed, Executive Coach & Consultant. Taryn is an Executive Coach and Consultant who specializes in effective communication, relationship building, and leadership style. She works behind the scenes supporting leaders at some of the world’s most successful companies including Google, Salesforce, and Adobe. Prior to her work as a consultant, Taryn spent close to a decade at Aflac creating and streamlining organizational processes, coaching and developing employees, and leading a strategic sales team. Taryn received her M.A. in Organizational Leadership & Learning from the George Washington University. Her graduate studies focused on women in leadership, humanistic leadership, and DEI in the workplace. She received her B.A. in Communication Studies from Loyola Marymount University.

Rita Drobnis, Director, American Express. Rita Drobnis boasts an impressive career spanning two decades in the financial payments industry. Starting from her tenure at Universal Studios to her role at American Express, she has excelled in fostering relationships and sealing deals with top brands. Her transition into overseeing the Central and Northern California territory demonstrates her natural leadership and dedication to mentoring others. Beyond her professional achievements, Rita enjoys a fulfilling family life with her husband, eagerly anticipating the arrival of their first grandchild in early 2024. Her story is a testament to both professional success and personal joy.
